Nina K. Martin

Nina K. Martin is an assistant professor of film studies at Emory University, where she teaches classes such as Feminism and Popular Culture and Sex and Gender in Experimental Film.  She’s not a Down With Love girl or a Stepford wife, but she will admit to keeping a diary.  Her book Sexy Thrills: Undressing the Erotic Thriller is recently published by University of Illinois Press, and she believes that “postfeminism” is a dirty word.  Her guilty pleasure is the Italian giallo, and she regularly scours the internet for the latest releases.  She teaches a Cult and Exploitation film and TV class and is developing a twisted DVD collection.  Some of her favorite sites are:
