Women and Film, no. 2, 1972
Released in close succession to the first issue, this second installment features reviews from the First International Festival of Women’s Films that took place in New York in 1972, and an interview with Nelly Kaplan, one of few woman directors then active and visible in European cinema. This contrasts with a continued focus on Hollywood and European films made by men like Stanley Kubrick, Douglas Sirk and Roberto Rosselini.
