Kin-Yan Szeto

Kin-Yan Szeto is a Ph.D. Candidate in Performance Studies at Northwestern University. She is also a
writer, director and performer in film and stage performances. Szeto has contributed articles to
Contemporary Cinema (Beijing), Jump Cut, and her essay on Hong Kong director Ann Hui is published by Fembooks in Taiwan (forthcoming). Sponsored by the Center for Interdisciplinary Research in the Arts, Department of Performance Studies and Asian American Studies Program, Szeto directs her most recent multi-media stage production, The Close Encounter with Mr. Chow Yun-Fat, in the Mary and Leigh Block Museum of Art.
