Nicole Laskowski is a general assignment reporter for a bi-weekly newspaper in northern Michigan. Her current area of interest is focusing on the notion of community, how a community is created, how a sense of community is defined. Some of her other works have appeared online at etude.uoregon.edu including two articles and several book reviews.
