Hollis Griffin

Hollis Griffin is a Ph.D. student in the Screen Cultures Program at Northwestern University. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University and a master’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin. His research interests include media history, queer theory, and regional politics and national identity. He has published articles and book reviews in the Velvet Light Trap, Spectator, and the anthology Film and Sexual Politics, and has articles forthcoming in Television and New Media, Feminist Media Studies, as and the Routledge Encyclopedia of Men and Masculinities.
