Mary E. Pagano is a doctoral candidate and an instructor in the departments of Radio/Television/Film and Gender Studies at Northwestern University. Her work on Jackass, the Movie can be found in the Film and Sexual Politics Reader, published by Cambridge Scholars Press. Currently, she is completing her dissertation, which explores the representations of femininity, feminism, and mobility in U.S. TV sitcoms and variety shows between 1962 and 1972.
