Victor Wallis teaches in the Liberal Arts department at the Berklee College of Music (in Boston) and is the managing editor of Socialism and Democracy. He studied in Chile, taught for many years in Indiana, and directed a student-exchange program in Peru. His articles on ecological socialism have appeared in Capitalism Nature Socialism, Monthly Review, and Organization & Environment, and have been translated into nine languages. His previous JUMP CUT reviews discussed “The Principal Enemy” (1976) and “The Battle of Chile” (1979).
