Randolph Lewis

Randolph Lewis is the Rapp Foundation Presidential Professor of American Studies at the University of Oklahoma, where he is also Associate Dean of the Honors College. A former Contributing Writer for The Brooklyn Rail, he is the author of two books on documentary film — Emile de Antonio: Radical Filmmaker in Cold War America (Wisconsin, 2001), and Alanis Obomsawin: The Vision of a Native Artist (Nebraska, 2006). He is also co-editor of a book series on Native film for the University of Nebraska Press, and co-producer of the documentary film, Texas Tavola: A Taste of Sicily in the Lone Star State
