Mark Taylor

Mark Taylor is an experimental filmmaker and media artist who studied film production at San Francisco State University. Taylor's most recent project, Sensing the World by Echo, is a short film and hand made book, which has been collected by New York's Museum of Modern Art and the University of Southern California, among others. Taylor worked at Film Forum and on the PBS documentary series P.O.V. in New York; he was the Director of the Film Arts Festival of Independent Cinema in San Francisco; and he is currently the Senior Interactive Producer and Managing Editor of KQED Arts, and producer of Gallery Crawl and The Writers' Block. He is in the first year of the Visual and Critical Studies master's program at California College of the Arts in San Francisco.
