Terminator to Avatar: a postmodern shift

 

Kimberly N. Rosenfeld

Kimberly Rosenfeld is a Cultural Studies Ph.D. student in the Graduate School of Education and Information Studies at the University California, Los Angeles.

She is researching postmodern theory and identity change in new media contexts under the supervision of Douglas Kellner.  Some of her publications include “Intergroup Communication Over Time” published in the International Journal of Intercultural Relations and more recently, with Kendall Hunt Publishing, Communication: Principles of Tradition and Change.  She holds an MA in Communication Studies and teaches Communication Studies courses at Cerritos College.
