Kfir Cohen is currently completing his Ph.D. in Comparative Literature at the University of California, Berkeley. His dissertation, entitled Subjects of the Global: From National to Neoliberal Imaginaries in Israel, Palestine and France 1948-2004, proposes an aesthetico-historical investigation of Israeli, Palestinian and French-Algerian (Beur) literary imaginations in the second half of the twentieth century.

He has forthcoming publications in Interventions and French Cultural Studies. He has published in the Israeli newspaper Haaretz and contributes to HaOkets, a socio-cultural online forum.
