Kathleen Scott

Kathleen Scott is a PhD candidate at the University of St Andrews.  She holds a BA from Wellesley College in Cinema and Media Studies and Political Science. Her PhD dissertation explores the ethical relationship of spectators to violent filmic aesthetics, incorporating elements of feminist, queer and haptic film theory. She also researches the theories of philosopher Gilles Deleuze, and is a member of the editorial collective of www.deleuzecinema.com, an international networking and collaboration site for Deleuze scholars.
