Nicholas de Villiers

Nicholas de Villiers teaches film, gender/sexuality studies, and literature in the department of English at the University of North Florida in Jacksonville. He is the author of Opacity and the Closet: Queer Tactics in Foucault, Barthes, and Warhol (Minneapolis: University of Minnesota Press, 2012). He has also published essays in Paragraph: A Journal of Modern Critical Theory (2005), Sexualities (2007), Bright Lights Film Journal (2007), Jump Cut (2008, 2009), and Senses of Cinema (2011).
