Ger Zielinski

Ger Zielinski has published widely on queer film and festivals. One of his current research projects concerns the transnational flow of Underground cinemas in the 1970s, particularly between New York City and Western Europe. He completed his Ph.D. at McGill University and was a postdoctoral research fellow at NYU 2008-10. The summer of 2010 he was a visiting researcher at the Institut National d'Histoire de l'Art, Paris, and then in the spring and summer of 2011 he was a guest of the Cinema Studies Institute at the University of Toronto. He has been lecturing on film and media at Trent University in Canada for the last couple of years.
