Caroline Guo completed her M.A. in Film Studies at King’s College London and B.A. at Northwestern University, having specialized in national cinemas (France and Hong Kong), spectatorship theory, and representations of time and memory in film. She has previously written for Jump Cut and blogged for the British Film Institute

She’s currently teaching English in Beijing, China, where she’s devoting her time to indoctrinating unsuspecting youngsters with her favorite animations, finding non-censored film venues, and organizing the 6th European Union Film Festival.
