Bebe Nodjomi

Bebe Nodjomi is currently completing her Master’s Degree in Film Studies at Columbia University. Her specialties and interests include Iranian cinema, documentary, sound aesthetics, and experimental filmmaking and video art. She is also invested in sociology and philosophy, having minored in each while studying at Hunter College for her undergraduate film degree. Bebe has worked for organizations such as LinkTV, PBS's documentary series POV, Women Make Movies, Democracy Now!, and Tribeca Film Festival. Her master’s thesis is about the representation of women in the films of Abbas Kiarostami and Jafar Panahi. She highly recommends watching Kiarostami’s Ten (2002) and Panahi’s Offside (2006).
