Dana Fore received his Ph.D. in English in 2005, from the University of California at Davis. His dissertation explored images of masculinity and disability in literature from the mid-nineteenth century to the earlier twentieth. His further work on this topic has appeared in the Hemingway Review and the Journal of Stevenson Studies.
