The tracks of Sully’s tears: disability in James Cameron’s Avatar
Dana Fore received his Ph.D. in English in 2005, from the University of California at Davis. His dissertation explored images of masculinity and disability in literature from the mid-nineteenth century to the earlier twentieth. His further work on this topic has appeared in the Hemingway Review and the Journal of Stevenson Studies. His previous work on disability in film has appeared in Golem: A Journal of Religion and Monsters.
