Cara Dickason

Cara Dickason is a lecturer of Professional Communication in the Center for Leadership Education at Johns Hopkins University’s Whiting School of Engineering. Her research explores how digital surveillance technology transforms the nature of privacy, visibility, and spectatorship, particularly for women and girls. Her work has been published in Camera Obscura and Feminist Media Studies, as well as in edited collections. She teaches on digital culture and the ethics of surveillance and privacy.
