Rakshit Kweera

Rakshit Kweera, PhD in Political Science, from the Central University of Hyderabad.  His writings have been published in well-known academic journals such as Strategic Studies, among others. His research interests lie in analysing the surveillance mechanisms, technological policing, and media representation of provincial police departments in India. Specifically for the representation of police in the regional film industry, movies such as Ardh Satya (1983), Piravi (1989), and Mouna Guru (2011) will be an interesting watch.
