Tushara Melepattu

Tushara Meleppattu is a postgraduate in Political Science from the Cnetral University of Hyderabad.  She works as a Kuchipudi dancer and researcher at Avanthika: Space for Dance, Centre for Performance and Research, affiliated with the Kerala Sangeet Natak Akademi. Her research interests lie at the intersection of South Asian religion, political thought, and performance theory. Her academic trajectory combines field-based inquiry, textual analysis, and embodied knowledge as a performer, aiming to contribute to decolonial and interdisciplinary approaches in South Asian studies.
