Miranda Wilson

Miranda Wilson is a Creative Practice PhD Candidate at the University of Auckland, New Zealand. Her research is concerned with gender and public space, in particular the ways in which transgressive strategies of feminist avant-garde documentary filmmakers work to re-imagine, remap and democratize public space. Miranda’s previous research has been published in Sounding Out! and Sightlines: Filmmaking in the Academy Journal.
