Ajay Pateer

I am a PhD candidate at the department of cinema studies, school of Arts and Aesthetics, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. My prior research work has spanned from fandom, and participatory media cultures to local piracy networks in India. Currently I am working on Cyberactivism in the Anti-Caste movement. My research interests can be broadly summed up into cinema, popular
culture and social movements. I am a cinephile and I am also making a documentary feature on student politics.
